I’ve been a member of Women in Sustainable Energy (WISE) since 2010, served on the board since 2011, and volunteered as the programs coordinator since 2013. I’ve organized nearly three dozen monthly programs, including individual speakers, panels, and happy hours. Among the programs I’ve assembled included all-female panels on implementing the Clean Power Plan in Colorado and starting your own energy-related business. My efforts to build quality content for WISE members have led to ongoing relationships with other women-focused professional organizations, including Women of Wind Energy, EcoWomen and the C3E Initiative. WISE, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is the first Colorado organization to offer education, networking, professional development and leadership training for women at all stages of their clean energy careers and their lives.
